Eligibility Criteria :

• Candidates who have successfully attained the qualification of 10+2 years of schooling from recognised Board of Education / University and having secured a minimum of 40% marks on the aggregate will be eligible.
• Candidates having Physics, Chemistry fr Biology in 10+2 shall be given preference.
• In case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe or B.C. minimum percentage of marks in these qualifying examinations is 40% as per Govt. Rules provided for the purpose.
• Students should be between the age of 17 years and 35 years.

How to Apply :

Candidates aspiring to seek admission to the ANM & GNM Courses may apply on the prescribed form available in the Prospectus only. Application complete in all respects must be submitted at Happy Child College of Nursing, Sonipat.

List of documents to be attached with application form:

• Attested copies of Educational Qualifications of Matric and +2 with detailed marks sheet.
• Eight recent passport sized photographs (One photograph duly pasted on the Application Form).
• An undertaking from the parent/guardian ensuring to meet all financial obligations of the candidate during her or his training period.
• List of visitors with their photographs and specimen signatures, who may be allowed to visit the candidates during their stay in hostel in training period.
• Character Certificate from Principal of the last College/college attended.
• Schedule Cast/ST or B.C. Certificate, if applicable.
• Self addressed 4"x9" envelop with six rupees stamp affixed.

Note :
All original required certificates and eight photographs (Passport size) must be brought by the student with them at the time of interview.

Eligibility for admission to the GNM Programme

1. Minimum Education

  • 10+2 with 40% marks form any recognized board. However Science (PCB) is preferable and English with aggregate of 40% marks.
  • 10+2 in arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology and Philosophy) and English core/English Elective or Health Care Science – Vocational stream only, passing out from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent board with 40% marks.
  • 10+2 Vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent board form recognized by Indian Nursing Council with 40% marks.
  • Admission of students shall be once in a year.
  • Registered as ANM with state Nursing Registration Council.
  • Students shall be medically fit.
  • Entrance/Selection Test/Counseling: Selection of the candidate should be passed on the merit of the entrance examination/online counseling held by university or any other competent authority.

2. Age

  • Minimum age for admission will be 17 years. (As on 31st December of that year) The upper age limit is 35 yrs. For ANM for LHV, there is no age bar. The date of birth recorded as per Matriculation certificate.

DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION:

The following certificates will be submitted by the candidate at the time of admission:-

a) Original/provisional 10th, 10+2 and statement of marks of qualifying examination and other higher examination passed by the candidates.
b) Character/Conduct Certificate issued by a Gazetted Officer/Head of the Institution last attended/ Tehsildar.
c) Domiciliary Certificate.
d) Migration Certificate/NOC from the university from which the candidate has passed her last examination.
e) Proof of category against which selected i.e. OBC/SC/ST/IRDP/Ex-Servicemen/WFF/PH.
f) Affidavit/ Undertaking by the Student and Guardians.
g) 10 Passport Size Photograph.
i) Adhar Card
j) Registration Certificate

EXAMINATION

  • Annual Examination will be conducted by Pt. B.D. Sharma University/Haryana Nurses And Nurse-Midwives Council, Panchkula.
  • Diploma for GNM and ANM will be awarded by Haryana Nurses And Nurse-Midwives Council, Panchkula.
